We have done our bit in donating to causes but one day, when Piyush found a puppy mangled and torn, and spent 3 days with her fighting for her life, we decided we needed to do something that would really make a difference. The idea to open an animal shelter was born – a client generously permitted us the use of an acre of her land in Chattarpur, and with donations from the team, clients and vendors, we were ready to start.

Except…desperate appeals for help from schools for underprivileged children emptied our coffers. This got us thinking – there are lots of people and groups doing good work, who often run out of funds. They had the time – could we find the money? Could we support them?

Could we, collaborate (one of our key values) for the greater good?

The answer was a resounding Yes! Yes! Yes!

So, the EDC Trust Fund was born.

Today the animal shelter is on hold, but we’ve planned for it in our future and it will definitely happen. It will help if we find someone as passionate as we are to run the animal shelter!

When we are positive, committed, innovative, accountable, and find ways to collaborate, success is guaranteed. And as Max Lucado says, “Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something and together we can change the world!”
